In a blog posting on eWEEK, Matthew Rothenberg offers some of his viewpoints on the likelihood of a Mac-based tablet PC and/or video iPod. “Since I noted August’s handheld patent-mania in an earlier blog entry, I’ve received a few more interesting tidbits about this alleged species, sightings of which I hinted at back in November 2002 (along with a wildly overoptimistic delivery date),” writes Rothenberg. “Specifically, I’ve been given new reason to believe that prototypes of a tablet Mac and “video iPod” have both made the back-room rounds as recently as this summer.” Editor’s Note: Free subscriptions to eWEEK are available to qualified readers.
