A report today on DigiTimes.com, claims Apple has secured another manufacturer of the iPod mini in Taiwan. The story says that Asustek Computer as received OEM orders, which it will fulfill from its plant in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province (China). In addition, Inventec Appliances, the first Taiwan-based iPod manufacturer, is “likely to secure orders for a similar version of the iPod from Hewlett-Packard,” according to the report. Neither company had any comment on the story.
