HP has launched an “Extreme Makeover” contest in which the company will give away more than US$40,000 worth of high-tech gear, including several Apple products. “Create an image to show us how you would design your new office. Then, find the HP Designjet 130 image that best works with your office layout and submit your entry.” The grand prize winner will receive: a Power Mac G5, a 15-inch PowerBook, a 20-inch iMac, an iPod mini, a Herman Miller office chair, Pantone Spyder Pro, the Adobe Creative Suite, an HP digital camera and projector, and a slew of HP printers. The contest runs until Sept. 15, 2004.
