Apple has started accepting pre-orders for Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar, which costs US$129.00. Users who purchase a Mac after July 17 are entitled to receive Mac OS X 10.2 for $19.95 through the Mac OS X Up-To-Date program. Apple is not offering any such upgrade for current Mac OS X users, however. Mac OS X 10.2 will ship August 24.
