MediaFour is now beta testing MacDrive 6, software that allows Windows-based PCs to access Mac disks. The final version is due next month with a price of US$49.95 for the downloadable version and $59.95 for the boxed version. The update will add the ability to burn Mac recordable and rewritable CDs and DVDs; users will be able to partition Mac hard drives; and new “International” and “File transfer/Backup” file-naming modes (these three features are for Windows XP/2003/2000 only).
