Vital Source Technology, a company that offers a digital collection of 2,000 literary works, will come bundled with Macs sold to U.S. schools, reports NewsObserver.com. “Vital Source, which employs 30, is building a software application that links various content,” notes the story. “It envisions a world of digital textbooks and other resources, where students can take notes in electronic margins, highlight pertinent facts and search it all.” Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
