A new Web site, iMovieFest, has been launched for amateur filmmakers. It’s designed to offer “an exclusive film community for amateur Mac filmmakers where you can post your own movies, get instant feedback, live results, and connect with other filmmakers who edit their movies on a Mac.” Members will have access to online movie galleries where they can rate/review movies they’ve seen, access free tutorials, grab free sound effects and other downloads, participate in interactive forums, filmmaking contests and more.
