MAXON Computer today announced the release of its second generation of the CINEMA 4D – VectorWorks eXchange plugin. With the new version, symbols and individual objects can now be exported in classes. Symbols are imported as CINEMA 4D instances, providing more flexibility and a better structure for the architect to visualize his project, notes MAXON. In addition, the new plugin “Material eXchange” speeds up the process further by allowing the architect to replace hundreds of standard VectorWorks materials with sophisticated CINEMA 4D materials with just a mouseclick using a reference file. The eXchange plugin requires VectorWorks 10 or greater and CINEMA 4D R8.5 and is available now.
