In his latest Personal Technology column for The Wall Street Journal, Walt Mossberg takes a look at the latest multimedia suite for Windows from Roxio — Easy Media Creator 7 — and compares it to Apple’s iLife integrated digital hub solution. Overall he is not impressed. “I found Media Creator to be significantly inferior to the Apple suite,” writes Mossberg. “It’s harder to use, less consistent in the way it works, less well integrated, and it fails to display the same delicate balance between power and simplicity that is the real strength of the Apple software.”
