Apple today released Security Update 2004-06-07 via the Mac OS X Software Update preference pane. According to the release notes, the update delivers several security enhancements and includes updated versions of DiskImages, LaunchServices, Safari and Terminal. Apple also noted that Mac OS X will now “present an approval alert when an application is to be run for the first time either by opening a document or clicking on a URL related to the application.”
