– Before yesterday’s Mac Design Conference keynote started, the big screens at the front of the auditorium showed a laugh-inducing list of items being “downloaded” for use in the keynote. The “items” included: naked photos of Bill Gates, ideas borrowed by Microsoft from Apple (parts 1-4), Steve Jobs’ home phone number, Job’s Platinum VISA number, a list of people fired by Jobs this week, the secret key for free downloads from the iTunes Music Store, the secret code for big discounts at the Apple Store, Microsoft Campus surveillance photos, and secret photos of the PowerBook G5, the video iPod and the Power Mac G6.
