Optibase has completed the purchase of substantially all of the assets of Media 100 for US$2.5 million (less the amount of any funding advanced). As reported by MacMinute on March 1, Media 100 planned to sell “substantially all” of its assets to Optibase, but will continue to develop, sell and support its 844/X editing-compositing systems, the Media 100 HD system, Media 100i software and other content design products.
