Memsculpt today announced the release of Knowledgetank 1.1 for Mac OS X, an information management utility that helps users keep track of information such as URLs, files, projects, recipes, books, DVDs, CDs, sourcecode, and more. The information is organized in categories, topics and dates, and the textbody of an information-post can contain a customized template to make the post more searchable. In addition to some interface enhancements and bug fixes, version 1.1 now opens .doc-files in MS Word, .rtf-files in TextEdit, and .ram-files in RealOne Player. Knowledgetank requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later and is priced at US$29.95.
