Logitech today at CeBIT announced the Logitech Notebook Optical Mouse Plus, a traveling USB mouse “that’s a snap to pack.” The patent-pending cord wrap is the key to the design, says Logitech. “When it’s time to move, the thin cord winds into a track built in the base of the mouse. Once the cord is wrapped up completely, a snap fastens the USB connector to the bottom of the mouse, protecting the optical sensor. The result is a durable, all-in-one package without any fragile moving parts.” The Logitech Notebook Optical Mouse Plus will available in Europe and the U.S. in next month, and in Japan and other Asian countries later this year. The suggested retail price in the U.S. is US$29.95.
