Sony Electronics today announced a new 17-inch (SDM-S74) and 19-inch (SDM-S94) liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor that includes two inputs — one digital and one analog — so users can connect multiple computers to one display. The displays feature a new cabinet color scheme that will include both black and silver bezels; a thin bezel design (less than 3/4 of an inch on each side); Sony’s “ErgoBright” technology; an exclusive “ErgoStand” design; and a cable management system and internal power supply. The S74 and S94 displays with a black bezel will be available in April for about US$520 and $750, respectively. The silver bezel model will be available in May.
