Hitachi has announced the CMP420V1 and CMP420V2, new 42-inch product additions to the company’s line of professional plasma displays. Both 16:9 EDTV (enhanced definition) monitors offer a range of connectivity options, including a DVI input, multiple component video inputs, multiple RGB analog inputs and S-video/composite inputs. The CMP420V1 and CMP420V2 each have a manufacturers suggested retail price of US$3,499.95.
