Apple’s retail guru to speak at design conference

Ron Johnson, Apple’s senior vice president of retail, will be a keynote speaker at the Seventh Annual Conference of the Center for Design & Business that’s being held Thursday, April 22, at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI. The conference is touted as a “forum where the best in the world of design and business will demonstrate how and why good design can lead to increased sales and profits for your company.” Johnson will speak about “how design principles unify branding, merchandising, marketing and people to deliver the best buying experience on the planet, and why an Apple store is coming to a neighborhood near you.”
