Mac Mania III, an ocean cruise that combines pleasure with conference courses and speakers, will sail Nov. 7-14, departing from Ft. Lauderdale for the Eastern Caribbean. Ports of call will include: Nassau, Bahamas; Phillipsburg, St. Maarten; Road Town, Tortola (British Virgin Islands); and Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. Some of the speakers include Steve Wozniak, David Pogue, Deke McClelland, Joe Schorr, Jesse Feiler, Laura Gutman, Jason Snell and Sal Soghoian. If you book passage by March 31, you can deduct US$100 per person when booking either the “Outside with Veranda” or “Mini-Suite” cabins. Cruise rates per person are: Standard Inside, $799; Standard Outside, $949; and Outside with Balcony, $1,099 (after the discount). The conference fee itself is $795.
