Apple’s WebObjects 5.2 was runner-up in the Best Java Component category of the latest Reader’s Choice Awards at SYS-CON Media, an i-technology magazine publisher. It finished second behind Eclipse SWT from Eclipse. The Readers’ Choice Awards Program incorporates simultaneous competitions driven by the readers of six SYS-CON magazines: JDJ, LinuxWorld Magazine, Web Services Journal, .NET Developer’s Journal, XML-Journal, and ColdFusion Developer’s Journal. All Readers’ Choice Award recipients are selected through reader-submitted nominations, followed by online voting.
