AudioFile Engineering today announced the release of its first product — Sample Manager, a full-featured Batch Audio Processor for Mac OS X. Features of Sample Manager include full support of AIFF, WAVE and Sound Designer II audio files; partial support of ACID, Recycle and Apple Loop files; detailed file and audio info; unlimited undo; MIDI playback of the selected audio file; and more. This version of Sample Manager (1.0rc2) is a release candidate, but the company expects the final 1.0 version before April 1, 2004 for US$49.
