HP today announced plans to revamp its digital camera line with eight new models featuring “revolutionary consumer industrial design and exclusive HP technology to improve image processing and ease of use for mainstream consumers.” The first camera in the new HP Photosmart family is the 5.1 megapixel R707, which features brushed stainless steel construction and incorporates HP Real Life technologies, a series of “technical advancements that make it virtually impossible to take a bad picture.” The camera sports 24x total zoom, 32MB of internal storage and PictBridge.
