Sonny Software today announced the release of Bookends 7.7.3, a Mac-only, full-featured bibliography/reference and information management system for professionals and students. Changes in version 7.7.3 includes several enhancements, tweaks and bug fixes. Bookends sells for US$99 ($69 for students). A free demo version is also available. Also available today is Reference Miner 1.2, a free Mac OS X application that lets you quickly and efficiently search Amazon for books and PubMed for biomedical literature. Reference Miner searches Amazon US, Amazon UK, and Amazon Germany for authors, title or keyword, and ISBN. All of the information available at Amazon, including user reviews and cover art, can be displayed. Reference Miner is free of charge and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
