Now Up-to-Date & Contact to get major overhaul

Now Software will release version 5.0 of Now Up-to-Date & Contact late in the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter of the year. The update of the cross-platform application will be Mac first and will be only for Mac OS X (support for Mac OS 9.x will be dropped). Version 5.0 will add a new unified integration and e-mail integration. It will be the “largest single update the product has ever seen,” Randal Murray, Now Software’s director of technology, told MacMinute.
