Bare Bones Software today announced the release of Mailsmith 2.1, the latest version of the company’s industrial-strength email client for Mac OS X. Among the new features in version 2.1 are automatic attachment encoding, a new command for quick message movement, enhanced SMTP support, plus new preferences and interface enhancements. Mailsmith 2.1 now requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later (10.2.8 strongly recommended), and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3 (10.3.2 or later strongly recommended). This update is also a maintenance release to fix reported issues and add other minor enhancements and refinements. A complete list of changes can be found here.
