CE Software has sold its QuickMail e-mail application to Outspring Software, a new startup company founded by Micromat CEO Jeff Baudin, who plans to continue development and marketing of the product. “Our QuickMail customers deserve a strong development effort to ensure that they continue to have a powerful and robust e-mail system,” said John Kirk, president of CE. “We will work with Outspring to provide a smooth transition. We have turned over our work-in-process on the next version of QuickMail and will continue to assist Outspring with technical support during the transition. We believe this transfer to be in the best interest of our customers and the future of QuickMail.”
