Acquisition 0.8 is the latest version of Xlife’s Mac OS X client for the gnutella peer-to-peer file sharing network. It supports modern gnutella features such as Ultrapeers, swarm (multi-source) downloads, download resumption, and distributed network discovery. Sony CEO discusses cooperation with Apple

Sony CEO Nobuyuki Idei talks about meeting with Apple and the company’s CEO Steve Jobs in the third installment of an interview by the AlwaysOn Network. “We actually met several times with Steve last year, in January, March, and June to try to work out a mutual strategy. Virtual Grand Prix, Player Manager demos released

UK game publisher Virtual Programming has announced the availability of demo versions of Player Manager 2003 and Virtual Grand Prix 2. Both demos run in Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X. Player Manager, a football (soccer) management game, allows user to play half a season, with some features unavailable in the demo version. The demo of Virtual Grand Prix 2, a racing title, allows players to race on a single track, and features full force feedback support.
