KidsBrowser 1.0 is designed for children

andX Software today announced the release of a new Web browser designed specifically for children. KidsBrowser 1.0 is powered by Apple’s Safari HTML engine and allows the user (parent) to preset authorized Web pages that their child is allowed to visit. In addition, the application runs in full-screen mode, so the Mac OS X system is inaccessible to the child using the browser. KidsBrowser requires Mac OS X and is priced at US$29.

A new video utility was released by andX Software today that allows users to add live pictures from webcams or DV cameras connected to your Mac and share them with friends from their Web browser. VideoWeb 1.0 works with any QuickTime compatible webcam or camera, including iSight. Video Web works on Mac OS X and is priced at US$19.

Xupport 2.0 public beta 5 released

Xupport 2.0b5 is the latest version of the utility that provides a GUI (Graphical User Interface) to configure many Mac OS X options, which may be tricky to configure manually.
