andX Software today announced the release of a new Web browser designed specifically for children. KidsBrowser 1.0 is powered by Apple’s Safari HTML engine and allows the user (parent) to preset authorized Web pages that their child is allowed to visit. In addition, the application runs in full-screen mode, so the Mac OS X system is inaccessible to the child using the browser. KidsBrowser requires Mac OS X and is priced at US$29.
