QuickTime 6.0.3 for Mac OS 9 released
Apple has released QuickTime 6.0.3 for Mac OS 9, which allows text files larger than 32KB to be imported and improves playback of movies under Classic in Mac OS X.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets demo available
Aspyr has released a demo version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which is available now for download from Mac Game Files. The game based on J.K. Rowling’s second book and the hit movie sequel is available for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, priced at US$39.95.

The Seattle Times is reporting that Apple is planning to open a new retail store at the University Village Mall in Seattle, Washington. This will be the second Seattle-area Apple Store — a Bellevue Square Mall location is expected to open its doors on May 10. There is no word on when the Seattle store will open, but Apple is already advertising for employees at the Village mall.
