International Typeface Corporation (ITC) has announced the availability of 29 exclusive, new fonts. ITC Officina Display, ITC Oldbook, ITC Medea, ITC Kiddie Cocktails, ITC Mosquito Fiesta and ITC Volcano King are the typeface families that contain the new fonts.

The Blue Technologies Group today announced the release of Ulysses 1.0, a Mac OS X text editor targeted at creative writers. Ulysses sports an “innovative” tabbed single-window interface, featuring integrated notepads, a documents browser, advanced search/filter capabilities and multi-document previews. “Ulysses aims to give creative writers, novelists and storytellers the best writing experience available on any platform today,” notes the developer. The application is available at a special introductory price of €60.

Forbes has published its latest technology CEO job approval ratings, where visitors can vote on the performance of a list of CEOs. Apple CEO Steve Jobs received a rating of 86% for June, up from 83% in May. Rounding out the top three are John Chambers of Cisco Systems at 68% and Larry Ellison of Oracle at only 43%. Votes are now being taken for July.
