Apple’s “New Music Tuesdays” continue today with additions to the iTunes Music Store from Liz Phair, Ashanti, Blu Cantrell, Morcheeba, Michael McDonald, Becky Baeling, Shirley Horn, and Cafe Tacuba. Apple has also added new music from Bjork, The Calling, Chet Baker, Bob Marley & The Wailers, A Tribe Called Quest, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Bowling for Soup, and Jorma Kaukonen. In addition, exclusive tracks were added from Macy Gray, Liz Phair, and Junior Senior.

Memorex offers ink jet printable CD-Rs

Memorex today announced the first ink jet printable CD-R media available to consumers, according to the company. Printable discs allow users to print directly on the surface of specially prepared CD-R media using widely available ink jet printers. Memorex offers CD-R discs that are rated at 48x, with 80 minutes of audio record time and 700MB of data storage. A 30-pack spindle of the ink jet printable CD-Rs is priced at US$14.99.
