Snowmint Creative Solutions today released Budget 4.1, the latest version of its personal finance software for Mac OS X. The update adds full support for credit cards, as well as Italian and French localizations. “Now you can balance your credit card account just like your bank account; make charges to your expense envelopes, and pay the credit card bill with your preallocated funds,” notes the developer. LaCie, Porsche Design announce new line of drives

LaCie announced today that it has teamed up with Porsche Design GmbH to produce an array of storage peripherals designed by the renowned design firm. The new products will combine “modern form and crisp design” with “highly-defined style and superior performance.” LaCie’s new design, which is expected in September, will house a complete line of USB 2.0 and FireWire hard drives, ranging in capacity from 40GB to 250GB.

CD Baby offers submission service for iTunes store

CD Baby, a large distributor of independent CDs, has posted details on its “Digital Distribution Program,” which helps indie musicians get their songs on Apple’s iTunes Music Store, Listen.com Rhapsody, and Emusic. “We keep only 9% and pay you 91% of all income from your music,” notes the compay. “A one-time ever setup cost of US$40 per album to cover all our encoding and transfer work” is also required.

Kodak bringing Ofoto service to Europe

Kodak is preparing to launch its online photo service Ofoto in the UK and Europe, indicating that iPhoto’s print ordering feature may soon be available to non-US users, reports Macworld UK. Apple uses the Kodak Ofoto service as a basis for the print ordering feature in iPhoto. Kodak’s European Ofoto service is expected to launch in late September.
