RALEIGH, NC, September 8th, 2003 — Intelli Innovations, Inc., developers
of innovative hardware and software for Macintosh, today introduced the
IntelliSwipe USB Credit Card Reader for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.
As noted by Leander Kahney on Wired today, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has given the go-ahead to Vince Briel, a computer technician in Cleveland, Ohio who wants to sell US$200 replicas of the original Apple I. Requests from Briel to Apple have gone unanswered, so he approached Steve “Woz” Wozniak for permission. Wired notes that “a spokesman for Apple declined to comment; and Woz couldn’t be reached for comment.”
