Apple is in the process of launching new applications and marketing tools for its iTunes Music Store that aim to make it easier for record labels and artists to sell and promote music on the service. Mossberg: iTunes is the best choice on Windows

In his comparison of iTunes, Naptser and MusicMatch, the Wall Street Journal’s Walt Mossberg writes: “All three major download services we tested did a decent job, and each has some nice features. Aspyr offers two new game collections

Aspyr has announced the release of two new compilation titles. The “Leave the Lights On” combo pack contains BloodRayne, Clive Barker’s Undying, and American McGee’s Alice, all for US$29.99. The “Extreme Fun” combo includes Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, Clone Campaigns expansion pack, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, 4×4, and iPuppet for US$39.99. Both collections are expected to ship in November.
