Apple CEO Steve Jobs says he has no plans to lower prices or dramatically change the iTunes Music Store to address new threats from companies such as Wal-Mart, who plans to a launch a digital music service next year. “We’re going to continue on our winning strategy,” he said in an interview with USA Today. Jobs says quality keeps customers loyal, and that Wal-Mart’s Web store “did not set the world on fire… We’ll see if it is competitive.” Jobs also took a jab at Dell, making it clear that Apple “trounced Dell this quarter” in music player sales.
