Edward J. Zander will replace outgoing Motorola CEO Christopher Galvin, grandson of the company’s founder, reports Dow Jones Business News and The Wall Street Journal. Zander is the former president and CEO of Sun Microsystems and presently serves as a managing director at Silver Lake Partners, a private-equity firm.
