Acme Made has announced the iCover II, the newest addition to its line of screen protectors for PowerBooks and iBooks. The iCover, made from soft micro suede fabric, protects a laptop’s display from dirt and oils that build up on the keyboard and are subsequently transferred to the screen when the laptop is closed. The new product was redesigned specifically to meet the needs of Apple’s aluminum PowerBooks. The iCover II features two mesh side panels that allow the product to fit better, slide on easier, and improve the cover’s overall durability, according to Acme. The product retails for US$24.99 for the 12-inch and 15-inch models, and $25.99 for the 17-inch version.
