PhotoshopWorld, which takes place this week at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida, opened today with a kickoff ceremony and Adobe keynote. NAPP President Scott Kelby hosted the hour-long event, first introducing Adobe Senior VP Bryan Lamkin, who gave a brief overview of the new Creative Suite (unveiled on Monday) before turning the microphone over to Adobe’s Russell Brown and Julieanne Kost for an in-depth look at Photoshop CS. The kickoff continued with the induction of photographer Stephen Johnson, Adobe Fellow Mark Hamburg, and author Jack Davis into the Photoshop Hall of Fame, and concluded with the annual Photoshop Guru Awards ceremony. Scott Sheppard of Inside Mac Radio is at the event and provided MacMinute with a few photos of the keynote. Scott will be giving further reports from the show later today and throughout the week.
