MacSkinz let us know that covers are now available for 12″ PowerBooks and 14″ iBooks. MacSkinz are formed plastic panels that snugly fit over the top of existing computer panels for adding a personal touch to your Mac. According to the company, most are silk-screened and/or digitally printed in reverse fashion on the inside to create a scratch resistant product. Others, such as its simulated wood grain or carbon fiber actually have the design embedded in the plastic itself. A few more designs, as well as custom MacSkinz, are also available. MacSkinz are priced from US$30. The company notes that MacSkinz for the 15″ PowerBook and iPod will be released soon.
