Planar rolls out new line of flat-panel monitors

Planar today announced its new PE line of flat-panel monitors, which delivers “excellent performance for cost-conscious buyers.” The 15-inch PE150 (US$289) offers a 1024×768 resolution (XGA), 400:1 contrast ratio, and 200 Nit brightness. The 17-inch PE170 ($429) offers a 1280×1024 resolution (SXGA), 350:1 contrast ratio, and 300 Nit brightness. The 19-inch PE190 ($599) offers a 1280×1024 resolution (SXGA), 600:1 contrast ratio, and 300 Nit brightness. All three are available in black or white finishes.
