Gefen today announced a new extension solution to transmit power, as well as ADC display and USB signals to Apple’s line of flat-panel digital displays. Each ex-tend-it ADC Extender cable is 16-feet in length, and two cables can be paired to reach distances of 32-feet. A plug-and-play solution requiring minimal hook-up time, users simply plug one end of the cable into the computer and the other end into the display’s cord, which typically adds another four-feet to the length. Two ADC Extenders, when used together, efficiently connect to each other without needing additional hardware. Pricing for the extender has been set at US$249.
