MOTU has announced Digital Performer 4.1, an update to its digital audio and MIDI sequencing production system. Version 4.1 will add support for the Digidesign Audio Engine (DAE), Apple’s Audio Units plug-in technology and virtual instruments. Digital Performer 4.1 will be provided as a free download to all registered users of version 4.0 on August 8.
