Formac today announced the Studio TVR, its second-generation FireWire TV and Digital Video Recording solution for the Mac. Based on the company’s Studio DV/TV, the new Sudio TVR features improved hardware and software to deliver enhanced TV and video quality. The Sudio TVR, which is scheduled for release later this month for US$399, features a free online program guide from TitanTV with a one-step scheduling feature, and offers pausing of live TV, a cropping feature for commercials, a favorite channel list, and a library for recordings and schedules.
