The Omni Group today announced OmniGraffle 3.0, a new version of its Mac OS X diagramming and drawing application. Targeted for early April 2003, the Omni Group will be shipping OmniGraffle 3.0, as well as a new Professional version. OmniGraffle 3.0 brings “smart guides,” a redesign of OmniGraffle’s Info panels, an improved toolbar, new caching architecture, better AppleScript support, improved support for importing OmniOutliner files, an improved Selection tool, and more. OmniGraffle 3.0 Professional adds the ability to import and export multiple-page Visio 2002 files, new page layout features, multi-page document support, a Presentation Mode, and ColorSync Workflow & Proofing support. OmniGraffle 3.0 will sell for US$69.95, while the professional version will sell for $119.95.
