Olympus today announced the first members of its Stylus Digital family, the 3.2 megapixel Stylus 300 Digital and the 4.0 megapixel Stylus 400 Digital cameras. They are “ultra compact, all-weather and easy-to-use cameras designed for the digital photography enthusiast looking for the best performance in a stylish and portable body.” The Stylus Digital cameras offer 12x zoom, a 1.5″ color LCD display, USB connectivity, the ability to capture QuickTime video, basic point-and-shoot simplicity, as well as a wide variety of settings. Both models will ship with a 16 MB xD-Picture Card and a Li-Ion rechargeable battery and charger. The Stylus 300 (US$399) will be available in February 2003, and the Stylus 400 ($499) will be available in April 2003.
