Apple has appointed Tony Ho as vice-president of Asia Pacific, according to The Star. He joined the company from IBM’s China PC division, and will report directly to John Brandon, Apple’s vice-president of the Americas and Asia Pacific. Based in Beijing, China, Ho will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and business plans to grow Apple’s revenue in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan), Apple said in a statement.
