Apple mulling retail stores in India

Apple is “actively considering” opening its own retail stores in India, according to a Financial Express article that quotes Parminder Singh, an Apple Marketing Manager, as noted by MacSurfer. Singh made the remarks alongisde the roll-out of the new iMac in India today. “Presence in [the] retail arena makes sense now as we’ve a fairly strong desktop portfolio with the induction of three new iMacs, in addition to the existing two iMacs,” Singh said.
