Richmond, Virginia-based Capitol Mac, a reseller specializing exclusively in Mac business over the past 12 years, has closed its store and will open for one final time this Saturday, March 16 for a liquidation sale. A recorded message relays the news to its customers that “Apple has left us with no choice,” although no further clarification is offered, and directs any interested business to Apple’s retail store in McLean, Virginia — some two hours away.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault coming to Mac

Last night on the weekly radio show Your Mac Life, Aspyr Media unofficially announced that it was working on bringing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault to the Mac, according to Inside Mac Games. Medal of Honor is a World War II-era first-person shooter, where the player takes the role of a lieutenant in the 1st Ranger Battalion and must battle through 20 levels based on historical military campaigns from the war.

Low End Mac’s “Best of the Mac Web” survey

Low End Mac recently launched its third “Best of the Mac Web” survey, which asks Mac users to rate the quality of the sites they are familiar with from a list of 50. MacMinute is included in the survey; last fall participants ranked us as the eleventh best rated site, the strongest showing to date for a new site.
