Analyst: Apple’s second quarter financials “tight”

C|net reports that Prudential Securities analyst Kimberly Alexy said in a recent research report that she was concerned about Apple’s “ongoing inability to execute product ramps efficiently,” echoing concerns of other analysts over Apple’s problems with meeting demand for its much hyped flat-panel iMac. Alexy and other analysts believe that Apple’s earnings expectations for the second quarter, which ends March 31, will be “extremely tight,” and depend on Apple’s ability to ship a glut of flat-panel iMacs over the next two weeks.
