M-Systems has released its 256MBDiskOnKey, a US$249.95 keychain-sized USB storage device designed for storing and transferring data. DiskOnKey is also available in 8, 16, 32,64, and 128MB configurations.

Addonics Technologies has announced the Internal DigiDrive, an all-in-one internal USB flash memory card reader that supports seven different media formats, including CF-I, CF-II, Smart Memory, Memory Stick, Micro Drive, Multimedia Card, and Secure Digital Card. The drive can be mounted into any 3.5-inch drive bay and is compatible with Mac OS 8.6 and later. The Internal DigiDrive is available now for US$69.

BLS Designs, Inc. has released its Accupan Image Capture System, a complete hardware solution for professionally capturing QTVR Panoramas and QTVR Objects. The system includes a rotation control unit, a large stage, and a small stage for capturing various sized objects and accomodates all 35 mm, digital still, and consumer video cameras. The Accupan Image Capture System sells for US$449.99.

Macworld Expo Tokyo 2002, which ran from March 21-23, attracted 173,385 visitors, according to Macworld UK. The numbers are slightly down from the 180,810 visitors that attended the show in 2001. A total of 6,000 people attended Steve Jobs’ keynote speech this year, which was highlighted by the introduction of a new 10GB iPod and 23-inch Cinema Display and a US$100 price increase on the flat-panel iMac.
