Internal all-in-one media card reader released

Addonics Technologies has announced the Internal DigiDrive, an all-in-one internal USB flash memory card reader that supports seven different media formats, including CF-I, CF-II, Smart Memory, Memory Stick, Micro Drive, Multimedia Card, and Secure Digital Card. The drive can be mounted into any 3.5-inch drive bay and is compatible with Mac OS 8.6 and later. The Internal DigiDrive is available now for US$69.

Macworld Tokyo 2002 attendance down

Macworld Expo Tokyo 2002, which ran from March 21-23, attracted 173,385 visitors, according to Macworld UK. The numbers are slightly down from the 180,810 visitors that attended the show in 2001. A total of 6,000 people attended Steve Jobs’ keynote speech this year, which was highlighted by the introduction of a new 10GB iPod and 23-inch Cinema Display and a US$100 price increase on the flat-panel iMac.
